Imagine that your job is to be a full-time child and to play with Lego all day. That is Sean Kenney‘s every day life!
He uses Lego bricks and toys to create about anything that you can think of. Whether it’s magnificent sculptures, portraits or other kinds of artwork. His art pieces come in all sizes, some are tiny, others are huge. His children books have inspired kids all over the world to create nice things themselves, which is amazing.
Kenney was a published cartoonist by the age of 18, but when he turned 27 he began creating Lego sculptures professionally from his studio in New York City.
The portraits are fully made from bricks, and they are glued on a wood backing with signature and date from Kenney. The best part is that every work of his is for sale. Some pieces cost up to $1700, but they are unique creations after all.
Having that said, take a look at these wonderful Lego creations by another artist.
