KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by the organization “Invisible Children” that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.

Joesph Kony (in Uganda, Africa) is the leader of a rebel group – LRA. He kidnaps kids as young as 8 years old and either forces them to become his sex slaves, forces them to fight and kill people (including their parents) or else he kills them. He has been doing it for 26+ years and people have tried to spread the word and eventually they did. They went to politicians and a hundred+ soldiers went out to capture him, but they couldn’t find him. So America just left the matter unfinished. So on April 20th this year people are getting together and spreading the word. They are gathering late at night to go around and put up posters and stickers etc. so that everyone can see and make this war criminal famous to the world. People are calling and writing to all the politicians and the celebrities. They are doing what ever they can to get important people involved so that the lives of thousands of innocent people are saved.

Spread the awareness!

Number 5 – Varna, Bulgaria

Bulgaria isn’t the most well-known country, even Europeans sometimes have trouble finding it on a map, but what it lacks in fame it more than compensates in beautiful women and stunning landscapes. Varna is on the country’s gorgeous Black Sea Coast and in the summer the city becomes jam-packed with sunbathing beauties. Similar to their Russian and Ukrainian counterparts, girls here are often tall and light-eyed. An up-and-coming tourism destination, travelers from around the world are only now discovering the gem that is Bulgaria.

Number 4 – Buenos Aires, Argentina

We have to take a firm stance and declare that Buenos Aires has the most beautiful women in South America! That’s right; more so than Brazil, Venezuela or Colombia. There’s just something about the cultured atmosphere of Buenos Aires that makes everything about the place seem so romantic. Do yourself a favor and visit this extraordinary city and maybe ask the most beautiful woman, that you have ever seen in your life, to teach you the tango.

Number 3 – New York City, United States

The only American city on the list; New York was a close call for the number-one spot. Because New York is a melting pot of so many different cultures and ethnicities, the city has some of the most diverse and beautiful women in the world. Hang out in the Village and you will see trendy and smart girls out on the town, the clubs in the Meatpacking District are where you’ll find the Eastern European models, and Brooklyn has enough cute hipster chicks to fill a thousand Apple stores. But the thing that really makes New York women so special… is their fashion!

Number 2 – Stockholm, Sweden

What you have seen on the beer commercials is true; Sweden really does have some of the world’s most beautiful women. The streets of Stockholm are literally packed with these gorgeous women, who are as tall as they are luscious. Even better, is that Scandinavians are world renowned for their friendliness, so there’s a good chance that the girl you’re eyeing is actually a sweet and down to earth person.


Number 1 – Kiev, Ukraine

Kiev is, without a doubt, home to the world’s most beautiful women. A visit to Kiev is truly awe-inducing and it’s almost hard to believe that women this beautiful even exist. They’re also less intimidating than their Russian counterparts. Check out Kiev in the summertime, when Hydropark Island on the Dnieper River becomes a hot spot for sunbathing Ukrainian beauties. And for anyone who thinks that beautiful women must be vapid as well, Ukrainian women are ready to disprove that theory. The women in the country are well educated and always ready to talk about literature or philosophy.

So don’t waste any time and start planing your tourism destinations for the upcoming summer!

Less attractive news was the cause of her death. To die as an idol at the age of 48 because of a combination of Xanax , further drugs and alcohol is not the most respectable way if you ask me.

Nevertheless, the tributes created afterwards were stunning. Several talented people sang covers of her unforgettable songs in her honour .

One very impressive creation came from Dubai . You weren’t expecting that, were you?

Known as the fastest growing and one of the richest city in the world , Dubai has become all about lifestyle. The grand investments which have been made in the last years really paid off.

Soon I will be writing about the development in the Middle East and what that region actually should be known for rather than religion and terrorism . It sure is more than just that as you can see.

A cathedral-like structure actually. Well, in this stunning set of photos from various contributors at flickr, we can see the greatest photography Europe has to offer.

The Luminarie De Cagna is an imposing cathedral-like structure that was recently on display at the 2012 Light Festival in Ghent, Belgium.

The festival was host to almost 30 exhibitions including plenty of 3D projection mapping, fields of luminous flowers, and a glowing phone booth aquarium, however with 55,000 LEDs and towering 28 meters high the Luminarie De Cagna seems to have stolen the show.

While wildlife enthusiasts photographer David Slater was touring a national park in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, the award winning photographer left his camera unattended and a crested black macaque monkey grabbed it and feeling free to shot a series of self-portraits with a smile.

The sound got his attention and he kept pressing it. At first it scared the rest of them away but they soon came back – it was amazing to watch. He must have taken hundreds of pictures by the time I got my camera back, but not very many were in focus. He obviously hadn’t worked that out yet. – Daily Mail

For the premier issue of Virgine Magazine , photographer Ryan Yoon shot photos of several dresses made from unusual materials. Well, not unusual in particular, but as dress materials they’re rather weird!

You have the candy dress, the Coke dress, the Teddy bear dress, the Puppy dress, you name it! They are all worn by supermodels like Cintia Dicker and Valeria Dmitrienko which of course make it all look so fashionable and haute couture.

Art direction Florian Schmucker , photographer Paul Ripke , and producer called POP has teamed up and made a fun digital art series of children and parents switching heads. They have called it Kindsköpfe which is German for “Grown Ups”.

The photos have been fixed on Photoshop, and the results are weird, baby- and children heads on grown up bodies, and vice versa. It’s just surreal, but I bet the parents and children had fun during photoshoot, at least it looks like that.
